An internal team at Vera Bradley led by Harry Cunningham, VP of Creative Services, brought me to join the team of goodMRKT as a copywriter, and it marked the beginning of an exhilarating journey toward shaping the narrative of a brand poised for impact. As I delved into crafting compelling messaging and storytelling, I found myself immersed in the ethos of goodMRKT – good people, great products, and exceptional causes. With each word penned, I sought to amplify the brand's mission, connecting with audiences on a deeper level and igniting conversations around conscious consumerism.
Over time, my role evolved, and I was honored to assume the position of Creative Communications Director of our scrappy outfit as we expanded beyond the borders of Fort Wayne, IN, into a storefront in SoHo and an e-commerce platform. In this elevated capacity, I championed innovative strategies, spearheaded creative campaigns, and collaborated cross-functionally to propel GoodMRKT to new heights. It was a remarkable journey of growth, creativity, and purpose, and I'm thrilled to have made a meaningful impact through the power of storytelling and communication.
